Teague, Bridgeland and his daughter, Fallon, also received a comprehensive briefing on EARTH's tropical forest reserve, integrated animal production farm and orchid and medicinal garden before hearing from two classes of students on their internships around the globe to the uses of sustainable agriculture.

Bridgeland spoke to over one hundred select collegians from a dozen Christian liberal arts colleges across the nation. Each year these student come to the nation’s capital for a week to see the government in action. Bridgeland spoke on his experience as a public servant as well as the vision and importance of service in the political process.

John Bridgeland, Robert Putnam and Harris Wofford launched a new report commissioned by the AARP, More to Give: Tapping the Talents of the Baby Boomer, Silent and Greatest Generations. The report was covered in USA Today, TIME Magazine and is being featured at the ServiceNation Summit in New York City. It outlines a 12 point plan to engage Americans over the age of 44 in tackling challenges across the nation, such as epidemic levels of high school dropout and the need to help millions of elderly continue to live independently in their homes.

The report was covered in USA Today, TIME Magazine and is being featured at the ServiceNation Summit in New York City. It outlines a 12 point plan to engage Americans over the age of 44 in tackling challenges across the nation, such as epidemic levels of high school dropout and the need to help millions of elderly continue to live independently in their homes.

Mary McNaught traveled with Malaria No More to Mali, Africa for an integrated health campaign. This December, Malaria No More is distributing 165,000 bed nets in Mali, joining the Measles Initiative and other partner organizations in an integrated measles-malaria campaign that will distribute a total of $2.1 million nets. Children under the age of five will receive bed nets, a measles vaccine, polio vaccine, and Vitamin A supplements. By the end of this campaign, all children in Mali under the age of five and their families will have received an insecticide-treated net.
